Supply & Erection of Training Centres for Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council
Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council contacted Miracle Span in November 2008 as they were looking for a building to use as a workshop for training construction trades. Miracle Span’s sales consultant listened to what the Council wanted their building to do for them and supplied them with a guide price for a building 6m (20ft) wide x 3.6m (12ft) high x 12m (40ft) in length. The Council intended to demolish some existing buildings from the site and reuse a concrete pad to site their new steel building.
In mid May 2009 Doncaster Council confirmed the demolition was complete and Miracle Span’s NEBOSH qualified contracts manager arranged a site visit to check the concrete pad was level and to discuss the project and health & safety requirements on site. Miracle Span provided a detailed quotation so the Council knew exactly what to expect and at the end of May Doncaster Council placed an order with Miracle Span.
Doncaster’s building was erected during the first week of July 2009 – the complete process took Miracle Span’s professional assembly team just 5 days!
Doncaster Council were very happy with their building and contacted Miracle Span soon after asking them to quote for a second building. This time the building’s dimensions were 6m (20ft) wide x 6m (20ft) x 15m (49ft) in length and it was to have a mezzanine floor. Miracle Span arranged another site visit to measure up and provided a further detailed quote and the Council then made an application for planning permission. Miracle Span erected a second building in March 2010.

Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council rated Miracle Span 10/10 for quality of products/quality of service/completion of contract to agreed time & cost and safety and had this to say about the Company :-
“Delivered on time, all risk assessments of an excellent standard. Workforce tidy, consider and completed construction of buildings on schedule”.
