Painted Buildings

The surface coating on Galvalume Plus steel allows a suitable paint/primer to be applied directly as no surface oil is added during the steel manufacturing process. This offers a distinct advantage over competitors’ buildings made from standard Galvalume steel, which require the laborious removal of surface oil before paint can be applied.

The above 'S' type building was erected for The National Trust. The glass front of the building was inset to allow it to be protected by steel sliding doors at night and the whole building painted green to fit in with beautiful wooded surroundings.
