Additionally, Miracle Span Buildings can be extended and customized at any time by simply adding steel arches and/or accessories.

Q. Can Miracle Span Buildings be adapted to suit my needs?

A. Most definitely. Miracle Span Buildings can be customized to suit your space, budget and requirements. End walls can be changed to suit other structures and accessories such as doors, windows, partition walls, skylights can be added at any stage.

Q. Can Miracle Span Buildings be insulated?

A. All Miracle Span Buildings are compatible with conventional insulation methods. Fibreglass bats or spray-on insulation can be added quickly and easily.

Q. What foundations do Miracle Span Buildings require?

A. Most Miracle Span owners fix their building to a concrete slab using our specially designed, pre-drilled base plate connector. Each building comes with detailed engineer’s drawings and an easy to follow foundation manual.

Q. Can I assemble my own Miracle Span Building ?

A. 70% of the Miracle Span assembly process is done at ground level using only one size nut and bolt, so most owners decide to assemble their own buildings following our step-by-step erection guide. Where this is not an option, we offer a complete, professional assembly service or the hire of a fully trained manager to guide your own labour force.

Q. How can I be sure Miracle Span Buildings will be able to withstand the climatic conditions of my exposed site?

A. Developed in Canada to withstand extreme weather conditions, Miracle Span Buildings conform to BS5950 and 6399. Made from a minimum 22 gauge Galvalume Plus steel, our engineers ensure each building is designed to meet building code requirements in any area. In fact, we have many thousands of buildings across the UK as well as in places as diverse as the Falkland Islands, Ascension Island, Belize and Antarctica!

Q. What makes a Miracle Span steel building so special?

A. Every Miracle Span building is made from Galvalume Plus Steel – the finest vailable in the World today. Galvalume Plus is a highly corrosion resistant steel that is aluminium-zinc alloy hot dipped. A clear organic acrylic resin coating is then applied and thermally cured. All combined Galvalume Plus provides a building that is superior in strength, corrosion resistant and features an attractive appearance. Best of all it’s fire resistant, 10 to 14 degrees cooler in Summer, 3 to 6 times thicker than traditional steel buildings and comes with a manufacturer’s 30 year perforation guarantee!

Q. Can Miracle Span Buildings be painted?

A. Miracle Span buildings can be painted using a combined paint and primer straight onto the steel. Unlike buildings supplied by our competitors using a lower grade of steel, Galvalume Plus steel does not have an oily coating added during the manufacturing process which needs to be cleaned off (a very laborious process) before paint is applied.
